I'm Matt Barker and you can listen to my show on Friday evenings between 8pm and 9pm GMT. In a jam-packed hour, we play more of the music you love - not loathe, tell you some bizarre facts and funny news stories from the past week, plus loads of banter and chat - which gets more surreal by the minute (ironing duvet covers and made-up facts about the legend that is Chuck Norris spring to mind).

Walk for Life 2010
Farleigh Hospice is a registered charity (no. 284670) providing specialist care, totally free of charge, to people aged 18 and over in Mid Essex. Caring for life is at the heart of their philosophy.
At any one time Farleigh Hospice is caring for around 1,100 local people affected by life limiting illnesses. To fund this care they rely on people fundraising and leaving gifts in their Wills to raise the £6,750 they need each and every day. As the number of people needing their services continues to grow each year, they depend on this help and support now more than ever.
On 9th May I will be taking part in 2010’s ‘Walk for Life for Farleigh Hospice’, walking 21.5kms and joining hundreds of other people who, just like me, will be putting their best foot forward to raise money for the hospice.
